Crucial Conversations – Mind Map and thoughts

This Mind Map is based on the Crucial Conversation Book from the VitalSmarts people. I simply love the book. I refer to it on a regular base. I re-read it regularly. I believe in the concepts that are explained – even if it doesn’t mean that I am now suddenly the best person to tackle all conversations.

In particular the “path to action” concept is relevant for me. I recognise that the “story that we tell ourselves” is the gap that Stephen Cowley is talking about in his 8th habit book between input and response. And I believe the “story” concept to be highly relevant to understand the gap.

In case you want to print the mind map, here is a black & white version.
